Why I hate Christmas capitalism & music

Okay...so let me be honest, I'm not a Christmas guy. I love the religious side. HATE the secular capitalism and social requirement to buy people gifts they normally wouldn't want. I don't need a coffee machine, so why would I want you to buy me one?

But it's the music I can't stand! And you know it's horrible because we only play it 6 weeks out of the year and then nothing! Not even a Christmas in July week.

Think about how stupid these songs are:

A freak reindeer who gets bullied.

A weird middle age snow man who plays with kids.

Bells. There's a song about bells!

A Big Brother sweatshop owner who knows when you're sleeping and awake?

Dreaming of a white Christmas? How do you think the homeless people in that community feel about a white Christmas? Or the minorities for that matter!

It's stupid. And you know it's stupid! But the corporations who feed off our need 'n greed sell us the idea that this holiday is about cheesy music, dumb gifts, and ugly sweaters.

Jesus already has to share Sunday with football...can't he have His birthday alone?
